Who Is The Institute Of Veterans' Advocacy
The Institute of Veterans’ Advocacy (IVA) is Australia’s new independent professional body for veterans’ advocacy. It is open for all new and existing advocates to join and be recognised as supporters of high-quality, ethical advocacy services.
The IVA provides veterans and veteran families who may wish to engage an advocate with confidence they are accessing an advocate that is trained and is committed to ethical practice and professional standards.
The IVA sets competency and ongoing training expectations, sets the conduct requirements to be adhered to by its members, and supports its membership to ensure the availability of professional advocates providing quality services.
